It has been 30 years since Kobe Precious Pearl Co., Ltd. was established on April 1, 1992.
We launched as an export and sales division from Matsuda Pearl Co., Ltd, the environment surrounding the pearl industry has changed significantly in the 30 years due to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, strong Japanese Yen, the reduction of production of Akoya pearls, and the increase of production of South Sea pearls, Tahitian black pearls, and freshwater pearls.
Many pearl companies in Kobe have disappeared one after another.
We opened a retail store once and realized the difficulty of operating a retail store, but we learned retail know-how.
We are able to celebrate the 30th anniversary thanks to our customers, suppliers, outsourcers, business associates, everyone who worked with us at study sessions, and our staff. Our company wasn't big, so it changed with the times.
We will continue to devote ourselves every day so that the beauty of pearls will please many people and that the pearl industry will be passed on to the next generation.
